Tuiton Fees

6-year Undergraduate MD degree
5-year Graduate-entry MD degree

6-year Undergraduate MD degree: €22,000 per year for all 6 years

There is a scholarship for up to 20% based on the student’s financial need

5-year Graduate-entry MD degree: €24,000 per year for all 5 years

Scholarships for this programme are yet to be confirmed for Fall 2025 entry

Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Entry - Doctor of Medicine (MD) – 6 years duration

High School Leaving Certificate

90% overall, including grades in Biology and one of either Chemistry, Physics, or Maths.

GCE A Levels with grades ABB

Biology and one of either Chemistry, Physics, or Maths, plus one more subject.

International Baccalaureate

32 overall and a combined score of 16 at Higher Level, including Biology and at least one of either Chemistry, Physics, or Maths

English language certificate options

IELTS 6.5 overall (with 6.5 in writing and a minimum of 6.0 in all other elements). TOEFL iBT with a total score of 79. GCSE with grade 5 (or B with the old grading system). IB English at Standard or Higher level with at least a score of 5

Graduate Entry - Doctor of Medicine (MD) – 5 years duration

A Bachelor’s degree

any field with at least a 2.2 class honours or equivalent GPA

Entrance Examination (one of the below):

GAMSAT: Minimum score of 55 (with at least 50 in all sections)
MCAT: Minimum score of 498.
UCAT: Overall score of 2500 with a minimum of 500 in each section, and a situational judgment score within Bands 1-3.

International Baccalaureate

32 overall and a combined score of 16 at Higher Level, including Biology and at least one of either Chemistry, Physics, or Maths
